October 2019
Dear Friends of Oesterlen,
It doesn’t seem possible, but ninety degree days will soon give way to snow flurries across our beautiful campus. At Oesterlen this can only mean one thing, Christmas is not far behind and the children, youth and families served through vital programs here at Oesterlen will be ready to welcome the magic of the season to campus.
This year, Oesterlen is excited to introduce our Christmas Wish List, with hand-selected items from youth and families served by our programs. If you or your Church, Women’s, Men’s or Youth Group would like to share in the magic of Christmas for our individuals, we invite you to join in the fun and fulfillment that comes with giving through our Christmas Wish List. The list will be available on our website at: www.oesterlen.org/Christmas during the end of October. At this site you or your group can sign up to adopt gifts to support the magic of Christmas here at Oesterlen. Gifts listed will be delivered to individuals at Oesterlen during the month of December as programs celebrate Christmas.
If not for your kind hearted donations it could cost Oesterlen more than $5,000 to provide Christmas for our individuals. Your devotion to our children and families allows us to meet their needs in ways that we otherwise would not be able to. What a true example of the Christ child among us that you choose to give of yourself to us, here at Oesterlen.
If you are interested in adopting one gift, one child or a larger group of gifts, please complete the Intent Form included with this letter. A staff member from our office will be in touch to gather more details and collaborate with you on the project. Gifts should be delivered unwrapped to Oesterlen at 1918 Mechanicsburg Road, Springfield, OH 45503. so that we may inventory and wrap them for each individual. This year, we are asking all gifts be at Oesterlen by Monday, December 2, 2019. Please be assured that any monetary donation not used during the Christmas season will be kept to meet the needs of our individuals throughout the year.
If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Development at (937) 399-6101 x114 or anicol@oesterlen.org. We are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have!
