Many families in Clark County experience chronic social, medical, and/or emotional difficulties which, if not successfully addressed, could lead to serious family breakdown.
Service Coordination programs offer a wide range of supports to help families become more self-sufficient and better prepared to meet their child’s needs. Programming is family centered and builds upon identified strengths within the family. Staff operate as part of the Service Coordination Treatment Team, coordinating support services with other treatment providers either within the Oesterlen array of services or in the broader community.
The Clark County Service Coordination Program, which is administered and operated by Oesterlen, is a county-wide cooperative effort of Clark County Children Services, the Juvenile Court, Mental Health Services, and the county Developmental Disabilities program.
